Megan is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker who has been cultivating a passion for documentary since the fifth grade when she produced her first project, a vérité piece on her neighbor’s insect collection — a cul-de-sac hit. She graduated from Penn State University where she studied film production and geography. During college, Megan interned at National Geographic, and after graduating in 2013, she started an internship with Florentine Films, Ken Burns's documentary company. She joined Florentine full-time as an apprentice editor on the upcoming Vietnam War series. In the fall of 2015, Megan relocated to NYC to join the Manhattan producing team where she is currently working on The Vietnam War and an upcoming project on Ernest Hemingway.
